Craiyon

Craiyon (formerly known as dall·e mini) is an AI model capable of generating images from any text prompt! Are you associated with dall·e mini? Yes, Boris Dayma (who trained the current version of the AI model) and Pedro Cuenca (working on the backend) are both part of the Craiyon Team and continue to contribute to the Dalle-Mini repository! Why did you change your name? OpenAI requested that we change the name of the application, which was quickly going viral, to avoid confusion with their model. How does the AI model work? The model used is called "dall·e mini," specifically the larger version also known as "dall·e Mega," and was trained using Google TRC. More details can be found in the W&B project report. What about limitations and biases? While the capabilities of image-generation models are impressive, they can also reinforce or amplify societal biases. Since the model was trained on unfiltered data from the internet, it may produce images containing harmful stereotypes. The extent and nature of biases in the Dall·e Mini model have not yet been fully documented. Efforts to analyze these limitations are ongoing and are being recorded in more detail in the DALL·e Mini Model Card.
