Product Information
What is Chromely?
Chromely is a lightweight alternative to Electron.net for .NET/.NET Core developers. It's a .NET/.NET Core HTML5 Chromium desktop framework. Focused on being based on Xilium.CefGlue, an embedded Chromium (CEF) implementation without relying on WinForms or WPF, though it can be extended to utilize them. Chromely employs native GUI APIs for Windows, Linux, and macOS to serve as a "thin" Chromium host.
With Chromely, you can build single-page application (SPA) HTML5 desktop apps with or without Node/NPM. Creating SPAs using Angular, React, Vue, or similar JavaScript frameworks is straightforward. You can use Visual Studio Code or any IDE of your choice, as long as Chromely knows the input HTML file from the compiled/bundled output.
