Product Information
What is The classic browser?
The Classic Browser utilizes the Chromium renderer to provide you with a faster and more secure web browsing experience through its own interface and digital handlers.
The interface is decidedly classic, almost evoking the nostalgic feel of AOL or Netscape. The buttons bear a dated look, where a more minimalist approach might have been preferable. Out of the seven buttons, I had to hover over them to see their functions. But that’s alright—as mentioned earlier, this is purely for rendering Chromium, so it’s meant to stand out. You can choose your theme, though these aren’t themes per se, just different color schemes.
It features multi-search functionality, allowing you to query across 12 search engines, including DuckDuckGo, Google, Yahoo, Baidu, and more. You can also opt to search several of them at random. Selecting all might seem convenient, but it will open a new tab for each chosen search engine.
