What is Flock browser?
Flock was a web browser specifically designed to offer social networking and built-in Web 2.0 features in its user interface. Early versions of Flock utilized Mozilla's Gecko HTML rendering engine. Version 2.6.2, released in July 2010, was the last version based on Mozilla. Starting with version 3, Flock transitioned to being Chromium-based, thus adopting the WebKit rendering engine. It was available as a free download and supported Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X platforms (previously Linux as well).
Support for Flock ceased in April 2011, with developers recommending users to switch to Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
