What is Privacy browser?
Privacy Browser safeguards your privacy by disabling features like JavaScript, DOM storage, and cookies that websites use to track users. Settings can be adjusted on a per-domain basis and instantly, allowing these features to be enabled when necessary. Additionally, Privacy Browser includes the EasyList blocklist, which blocks many tracking technologies even when JavaScript is enabled. Currently, Privacy Browser utilizes Android's built-in WebView to render web pages, making it most effective when the latest version of WebView is installed. In the 4.x series, Privacy Browser will transition to a forked version of Android WebView, known as Privacy WebView, enabling advanced privacy features.
Warning: Due to operating system limitations, Privacy Browser is vulnerable to MITM (Man-in-the-Middle) attacks when browsing insecure websites from devices running Android KitKat (version 4.4.x, API 19).
