What is Pure url?
This add-on automatically removes all junk, such as "UTM_Source=*" from URLs. These fields are provided for Google Analytics and are not necessary.
Example of a URL with junk:

By default, Pure URL removes the following junk fields:
- utm_source, utm_medium, utm_term, utm_content, utm_campaign (spyware fields for analytics.google.com)
- yclid (spyware field for metrika.yandex.ru)
- feature (junk on youtube.com)
- fb_action_ids, fb_action_types, fb_ref, fb_source, action_object_map, action_type_map, action_ref_map (spyware fields from Facebook.com)
- ref, fref, hc_location (junk on Facebook.com)
- ref_ (junk on imdb.com)
