What is Roam-highlighter?
Highlight text on a page to copy for Roam
This highlighter extension is designed for Roam research notes, applying an app to assist in "clipping" web pages by highlighting all areas you wish to save in Roam, then easily copying/pasting them into Roam in a Roam-friendly format. You can also use the extension to double-bracket words/phrases, creating page/link references when pasted into Roam.

Basic Instructions:
[Alt + X]
- Activate the extension and show/hide the side window
[Ctrl + X]
- Highlight selected text
- To remove a highlight, select the text and press [Ctrl + X]
[Alt + Click]
- Delete an entire highlight
[Alt + Q]
- Remove all highlights on the page
[Alt + A]
- Mark a selected highlight as a "header"; subsequent highlights will nest under it until another highlight is marked as a "header"
[Double-click] a word (must be highlighted)
- Add [[double brackets]] for Roam "page links"
[Alt + Z] (must already be highlighted)
- Add [[[triple brackets]]] around the selection for Roam "page links"
