What is Briskbard?
BriskBard is a new web browser that also includes an email client, media player, news aggregator, FTP client, newsgroup reader, contact manager, IRC client, and multiple web developer tools.
Security, privacy, and open standards are the three main pillars of BriskBard's development. To name just a few features: browsing data can be deleted with just two clicks, and the message viewer uses a brand-new engine to securely display content. The UI is designed to be intuitive, easy to use, and fast. BriskBard has a new bookmark system for quick access to any website, FTP server, or IRC server. Bookmark management is simple and allows exporting and importing bookmarks in multiple formats.
Screen notifications can be activated to periodically remind users of new emails, newsgroup articles, or feed items. BriskBard can manage unlimited email accounts. It includes an advanced image viewer, auto-filters, and labels. The message editor lets you change text attributes, check spelling, auto-add signatures, easily select recipients by typing partial names or email addresses, and attach files, contacts, or images directly from a scanner.
The contact manager allows adding, selecting, or editing contact info from the email client, newsgroup reader, or message editor. BriskBard is available in English and Spanish and includes a language manager to easily translate all text into any other language.
