Product Information
What is Quicksy?
A derivative of the popular Jabber/XMPP client Conversations, featuring automatic contact discovery.
Register using your phone number, and Quicksy will automatically suggest potential contacts based on the phone numbers in your address book.
You sign up with your phone number, and Quicksy recommends possible contacts to you automatically by matching the phone numbers in your address book. Quicksy is available for free download from the Google Play Store. The source code is licensed under GPLv3 and accessible on Github. Under the hood, Quicksy is a fully functional XMPP client that allows you to communicate with any user on any publicly federated server. Similarly, users on Quicksy can be reached externally simply by adding [email protected] to your contact list.
Beyond contact synchronization, the user interface is deliberately kept as close as possible to Conversations. This enables users to eventually migrate from Quicksy to Conversations without needing to relearn how the app works.
