What is Siphon sip?
The world's first home for free SIP/VoIP applications compatible with iPhone and iPod Touch 1 and 2. The Siphon SIP/VoIP project is the first in its category to support all SIP providers with headsets for iPhone and iPod Touch 2. It is a native application approved to run on 2.X, utilizing the internal microphone/speaker and headset.
This app adheres to SIP standards, ensuring compatibility with hundreds of SIP providers, and features a GUI that maintains Apple's design philosophy for native iPhone applications.
Please note that this version has not been tested on iPod Touch 1. One thing is certain: Touchmod's microphone does not work with the iPhone 2.X operating system. You will need a microphone with Apple's "approved" hardware key, such as the Macally iVoice III.
Currently, Siphon has been localized into 15 languages.
