What is Litevault?
When you log in to LiteVault, your browser sends your identifier to our server. We use the AES algorithm to return an encrypted version of your wallet, which your browser then decrypts using your password (never sent to the server) to load the private key for signing transactions.
When you send Litecoin through LiteVault, we use the private key stored in your browser's memory to sign the transaction from your address. We then post the carefully crafted transaction as a hash to our server, which we cannot alter. Our only role is to push the transaction to the network.
