MouseKYC

Many ICOs must comply with KYC regulations, often resorting to custom solutions or integrating specific third-party APIs and packages. This can be costly, difficult to customize, and time-consuming. Having observed the use of ICO products firsthand at NoRestLabs and advised startups at MouseBelt, we created MouseKYC—an open-source solution to simplify hosting ICOs. In most cases, financial firms interacting with clients need to know: Who is the client you're engaging with? Where are they from/under which laws do they operate? Is there risk in interacting with them? ### What is MouseKYC? To assist in verifying identity and country of origin, we developed a registration application that can be hosted anywhere the user chooses. It consists of three components: - **mouse-kyc-fe**—The frontend of the package, handling user registration, document uploads, field input, and submission. It retains the KYC registration status upon revisits. Built with React. - **mouse-kyc-admin**—The admin panel for the package, managing registration approvals. Administrators can approve or reject applicants and request additional information to verify identity and assess risk. Also built with React. - **mouse-kyc-be**—The backend package handling APIs and processing. Powered by Node.js + MongoDB. Together, these products provide a KYC process that anyone can integrate into their dashboard. Users only need to: - Host the dashboard - Set up configurations - Generate and store API keys - Integrate it into their existing dashboard Once this process is complete, anyone running an ICO can launch a simple dashboard to manage KYC during registration, taking steps to meet compliance laws.

MouseKYC is an open-source KYC (Know Your Customer) solution designed to assist ICO projects and financial firms in effortlessly complying with KYC regulations, verifying user identities and origins, while avoiding costly and time-consuming custom development.
