What is Portfolio estimator?
Portfolio Estimator is an intellectual property cost estimation and analysis software developed by Quantify IP, designed to provide reports on various types of patents, designs, and utility models for future cost estimations and IP portfolio analysis. Portfolio Estimator also allows users to import their own IP case data.
Features and Capabilities
Portfolio Estimator enables users to import patent portfolio data from any docketing system. Analyses can be conducted across the entire patent portfolio or by selecting specific patent families from the IP data. Portfolio Estimator accommodates any filing route for patent portfolios, such as PCT or EPO. It calculates fees for specific attributes (e.g., number of claims, page count) in any country. These stages include filing, prosecution, grant, and annuities. Costs can also be projected based on official fees and ancillary expenses.
Portfolio Estimator allows users to create groups, and patent families can be categorized by these groups. Cost projections can also be organized by group. Three predefined default groups include technology, department, and manager.
