Solve360 is a cloud-based CRM and project management application that integrates with Gmail through contextual widgets. It adopts a radical approach to projects, listing tasks, files, notes, call logs, URLs, and other elements in a "project blog" (Norada rejects organizing projects in tabs—http://norada.com/forums/viewthread/3130/#10801—compared to Insightly). In Solve360, users can establish arbitrary relationships between contacts and other contacts or projects (e.g., "[user] knows [project]"). Both projects and contacts (but not tasks) can have custom fields ("category tags") or multiple types, including URLs. The fields displayed for each entity (company, contact, task) can be customized. Projects can include task lists containing tasks. Tasks can be rearranged within a task list (or between task lists) via drag-and-drop. Tasks must be associated with a contact or project (no standalone tasks exist). The Gmail widget can only create tasks linked to contacts. Tasks cannot be created via email (unlike Wrike, where forwarding an email to [email protected] or CC'ing [email protected] updates or creates tasks), and Norada has declined to implement this feature ("We don’t manage tasks independently of projects or contacts—here, we want things to have context"—http://norada.com/forums/viewthread/2579/). A unique feature is scheduled emails. Templated tasks are also supported. Social media integration remains basic: contacts include hyperlinks to automatically search for their names on LinkedIn and Google. Norada rejects the use of folders: "We don’t do folders (or hierarchies).
