Product Information
What is Angry ip scanner?
Angry IP Scanner is an extremely fast IP address and port scanner.
It can scan any range of IP addresses and any of their ports. It is cross-platform and lightweight. No installation is required, and it can be freely copied and used anywhere. Angry IP Scanner simply pings each IP address to check if it is active, then optionally resolves its hostname, determines the MAC address, scans ports, and more. The amount of data collected about each host can be extended via plugins.
It also has other features like NetBIOS information (computer name, workgroup name, and currently logged-in Windows user), favorite IP address ranges, web server detection, customizable openers, and more.
Scan results can be saved as CSV, TXT, XML, or IP port list files. With the help of plugins, Angry IP Scanner can gather any information about scanned IPs. Anyone who can write Java code can create plugins to extend Angry IP Scanner's functionality.
To improve scanning speed, it uses multithreading: a separate scanning thread is created for each IP address scanned. The full source code is available; see the download page.
