The ideal measurement environment is one with minimal obstructions, such as vast open grasslands, though in urban settings, obstacles are unavoidable. For the most accurate results, measurements should be taken by moving in a 1/2 to 3/4 circle around the presumed base station at varying distances.
The app supports real-time transmission, meaning collected data is sent to the CellMapper server as you measure. You also have the option to manually send data after measurement or resend previously collected data. Once files are uploaded to the server, they are typically processed within minutes if the server load is light. However, during periods of high server traffic, processing may take several hours or even an entire day. Delays in processing speed are a known issue and will be addressed in future updates.
