What is Directupdate?
DirectUpdate is an application that runs transparently in the background (as a service, even when no user is logged in) and checks the IP address assigned to the computer.
Each time a new IP address is detected, the DirectUpdate engine updates your domain name, ensuring it is always current. DirectUpdate is known as a dynamic DNS client updater, or "client updater."
