What is Netxms?
NetXMS is an enterprise-grade, multi-platform open-source network management and monitoring system. It offers comprehensive event management, performance monitoring, alerting, reporting, and graphing for all layers of IT infrastructure—from network devices up to the business application layer.
The system employs a three-tier architecture: data is collected by monitoring agents (either our own high-performance agents or SNMP agents) and transmitted to the monitoring server for processing and storage. Network administrators can access the collected data through a rich client application or a web interface. NetXMS supports a wide range of platforms, operating systems, and database engines.
