Product Information
What is Privatebin?
Data is encrypted/decrypted in the browser using 256-bit AES in Galois
Counter Mode.
This is a fork of ZeroBin, originally developed by Sébastien Sauvage. It
has been refactored to allow for simpler, clearer extensions and now includes many
more features than the original. Yet, it remains fully compatible with
the original ZeroBin 0.19 data storage scheme. Thus, such an
installation can be upgraded to this fork without losing any data.
What PrivateBin Offers
As a server administrator, you don’t have to worry about whether your users post
content deemed illegal in your country. You have no
knowledge of any paste content. If requested or enforced,
you can delete any paste from the system.
A Pastebin-like system for storing text documents, code snippets, and more.
Data sent to the server is encrypted.
A password can be set to read pastes.
It further secures the paste and prevents people from stumbling upon your paste
via the link without needing a password.
