Quickemu

Quickly create and run highly optimized desktop VMs for Linux, macOS, and Windows—just two commands. You decide the OS to run; Quickemu figures out the best approach. Example: 'quickget ubuntu-mate impish' then 'quickemu --vm ubuntu-mate-impish.conf'. Initially, the project aimed to enable quick testing of Linux distros, with VM configs storable anywhere (e.g., external USB or home directory) and no elevated permissions required to run VMs. Quickemu now fully supports macOS and Windows. Quickemu is a wrapper for the excellent QEMU, aiming to 'do the right thing' automatically rather than expose exhaustive configuration options.
