What is Rdp remote?
RDPRemote is a tool that allows you to connect to any Windows computer from anywhere using the RDP or VNC protocol. RDPRemote utilizes Windows Remote Desktop Connection (mstsc.exe) or standard VNC client/server applications like TightVNC/UltraVNC.
RDPRemote is built around two applications. Both the RDPRemote server and RDPRemote client are standalone applications that require no configuration.
The server and client establish connections either directly or transparently via an HTTP proxy to the RDPRemote gateway. Since only outbound connections are used, there's no need to open inbound firewall ports or set up port forwarding.
The RDPRemote gateway acts as a proxy between the client and server. All data (RDP/VNC) is relayed through the gateway, meaning both the client and server can operate behind NAT firewalls/routers.
