SambaBox is an enterprise directory appliance featuring a web-based management interface. It also offers integrated Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Certificate Authority (CA), compatibility with Microsoft Exchange, and supports functionality levels up to 2016, built on the Linux operating system. SambaBox includes a web-based Group Policy Object (GPO) editor, eliminating the need for RSAT. Additionally, it supports sensitive password policies. Based on the open-source Samba project with additional patches, SambaBox ensures stability and seamless compatibility in Windows Active Directory (AD) environments. It does not require an internet connection to maintain a secure network environment, as all updates can be performed offline.
