It powers all core modules, including the Elasticsearch database, user account management, natural language understanding (NLU), and chat functionality. Moreover, it connects NLU to intelligent services like reminders, to-do lists, news, IoT interfaces, and more—all while keeping your data in a secure environment. Thanks to Java, the SEPIA backend can run on virtually any operating system (Linux, Windows, or Mac). Optimized for single-board computers like the Raspberry Pi to operate within your private network, it's also scalable and can be hosted as a cloud service. SEPIA is extensible, offering numerous ways to enhance and personalize it.
