What is Tangled?
Tangled is a new social Git collaboration platform built on the AT Protocol. We envision a place where developers have full ownership of their code, open-source communities can operate freely and autonomously, and most importantly, coding can once again become social and fun.
Decentralized code collaboration platforms come in various models, ranging from the federated approach of ActivityPub (Forgejo) to the fully peer-to-peer model of Radicle. Our approach seeks to combine the best of both worlds by leveraging atproto, a protocol designed for building decentralized social applications with centralized identity.
