What is Arctic fox?
Arctic Fox originally forked from Pale Moon 27.9.4, retaining its classic interface, and imported many fixes and enhancements from Firefox and Tenfourfox. Its goal is to remove mobile support or no longer update desktop browsers on the tree. Android has been dropped, while iOS lingers.
It aims to implement specific security updates and bug fixes to keep the browser as current as possible for aging systems like Mac OS X 10.6-10.11, PowerPC running Linux, Windows XP, etc. Arctic Fox supports Mac OS X 10.6+, Windows XP, I386/X86_64/PowerPC-BE, MIPS-EL, ARM on Linux, and other UNIX/BSD variants. Ideally, it would also work on PowerPC 10.5.
