What is Fixbrowser?
FixBrowser is a genuinely lightweight web browser built from the ground up. It intentionally lacks JavaScript support to ensure faster performance and lower resource consumption. Instead, it includes an updated set of scripts designed to fix and enhance various websites.
Privacy is at its core, with a design that prioritizes it as the main goal, employing a whitelist approach to resource loading to prevent any unnecessary tracking.
Currently in its Alpha phase, the browser has all foundational elements in place but requires further development. There's also fixproxy, which utilizes the browser's "backend" components—everything except the actual rendering—to work alongside conventional web browsers. Offering a secure way to navigate the web, fixproxy is more refined and has been my primary tool for safe browsing for years, delivering excellent results.
