What is Readr for reddit?
This extension adds a beautiful, clutter-free reading mode to Reddit.
Reading lengthy Reddit comments (on AskReddit, WritingPrompts, AskScience, etc.) no longer has to be a pain. Try Readr for Reddit and view individual comments in a clean design optimized for readability. Just press "Read" on any comment to open the Readr viewer.
Works on all subreddits and self-posts!
Firefox and Safari versions are in the works :D
New: Dark mode, alternative font styles, and a new options page!
Tip: Press "ESC" to exit the reader UI and return to Reddit.
How to use:
1. Install the extension
2. Go to your favorite subreddit and dive into the discussion on the first interesting link you find
3. Below the post, click the "Read" button (next to the permalink button)
4. Enjoy your reading
Though I've thoroughly tested this extension, it's still a one-person project and very much in beta. Any feedback or issues are welcome!
