Readup is a social reading platform that operates via a mobile app or web extension. Save articles from anywhere on the internet and read them anytime on Readup. The platform tracks your reading progress, allowing you to pick up where you left off. By anonymously aggregating data from all verified completed reads, Readup also transparently recommends articles that are most read and discussed by its community. Each day, an Article of the Day (AOTD) is nominated. There are no filter bubbles on Readup—everyone sees the same article recommendations! You can discover articles for free, but a subscription (minimum $5) is required to read within the Readup platform. Readup shares 90% of its revenue with the writers of articles read by the community. Follow other interesting readers and discuss together, with the requirement that all commenters must have read the article before posting. This helps eliminate much of the toxicity often found on other platforms. You can also share what you're reading via Twitter integration and spark discussions!
