What is Tabit - images?
Image Viewer. Extends Chrome's functionality for opening and viewing images in browser tabs.
Inspired by online and in-browser tools, this extension allows you to view images without leaving the browser—especially those stored locally—so you don’t have to navigate away.
It also provides more comfortable tools than the default options for viewing any opened image.
You may have noticed the limitations of the default image viewer—missing essential tools and lacking the ability to switch between images in a folder. That’s why you might need "TabIt - Images" to change that.
**Compatible with:**
- Raster images up to [16384×16384] (268 MPX) due to browser constraints
- Vector images in SVG format
- File extensions: JPEG, JPG, PNG, BMP, ICO, GIF, SVG
- URI schemes: http, https, file, blob, data
**Important:** To use local file operations, any extension requires you to go to `chrome://extensions` and check the box labeled "Allow access to file URLs" next to the extension. This applies here as well.
