Figma Chat

This plugin helps you interact with others within a file. It's a simple chat that allows sending text and currently selected frames or other elements. Just select the elements you want to send to others, write your text, and click the "Send Arrow" or press the Enter button. How to use it? First, open the "Figma Chat" plugin in your file. The plugin generates a random room name and key. Both strings are available to all editors within the file. Room Name: This string tells the server where to send messages. Key: This string is used to encrypt and decrypt all messages. The plugin handles everything for you! At the top of the plugin, you'll find two pages. On the left (by clicking the icon), you can access the "Settings" page to set your username, color, and whether you need a custom server (https://github.com/ph1p/figma-chat-server). On the right, you can click the online counter to access the "User List" page, where you can see all currently active users. Below, you can type a message and optionally include the coordinates of your current selection (the plugin will ask for confirmation before sending them). Always remember: All messages are encrypted, and only those who can run the plugin in your file can read them.
