Product Information
What is Voicemac?
VoiceMac is the first Google Voice client for Mac. In a simple interface, send multiple text messages, dispatch SMS, receive texts, make phone calls, view call history, retrieve voicemails, perform reverse phone number lookups, and search your contact list. When you receive a text or voicemail, you'll be notified via Growl and hear a customizable sound.
With SIP support, you can place calls from your computer using your preferred SIP service. If you've linked your Google Voice number with a SIP service, you can make calls from your computer using your Google Voice number. Reverse lookup data allows you to identify who's calling, even if their number isn't in your contacts.
Through themes, you can customize the appearance of SMS messages with simple HTML or by downloading themes. The VoiceMac contact system is among the best, supporting both Address Book and Google Contacts. You can quickly search your contacts as if using a search engine. VoiceMac is open-source and available at http://opensource.mrgeckosmedia.com/VoiceBase/Mac/Mob.
