What is Weco?
Weco is an early-stage, open-source discussion and link-sharing platform, experimenting with a cooperatively owned company structure and some unique features designed to help communities share and organize information more effectively.
We believe that ethical social networks with the right features and governance structures can help communities reclaim sovereignty over their online presence, collaborate more efficiently, and pool resources to develop creative new free and open-source tools, among many other benefits.
Our codebase is available for download on GitHub under the AGPLv3 license. This is our alpha release.
