Cherokee is a flexible, extremely fast, and lightweight web server. It is entirely implemented in C, with no dependencies other than the standard C library. It is embeddable and extensible through plugins. It supports dynamic configuration via reading files or strings, TLS/SSL (via GNUTLS or OpenSSL), virtual hosting, authentication, cache-friendly features, PHP, custom error handling, and much more.
