Product Information
What is Cloudview nms?
CloudView is a standards-based Network Management and Monitoring System (NMS). It automatically discovers and monitors SNMP or TCP/IP devices from any vendor, performing numerous functions. It offers a unified geographical view of the entire network—spanning thousands of IP nodes and hundreds of thousands of switch ports—facilitating configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting. As a client-server system, it enables multiple remote users to securely perform NMS functions simultaneously. CloudView is successfully deployed in both enterprise and service provider networks, boasting carrier-grade reliability. It scales seamlessly to accommodate networks of any size and is supported across multiple platforms, including Windows, Linux, Mac OS, and Solaris. Remote access is available from any platform, including mobile devices. It supports various network protocol standards, such as SNMPv1, SNMPv2, and SNMPv3 with AES-128 security. Additionally, it serves effectively in large Industrial Control Systems (ICS) for SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) solutions. When access to managed devices is blocked by corporate firewalls, Network Address Translation (NAT), or when devices lack permanent IP addresses (e.g., DHCP), CloudView provides optional multi-platform agent software that can be installed on devices to bypass these issues without requiring a VPN.
