Product Information
What is Masscan?
The results generated by MASSCAN resemble those of the most renowned port scanner, Nmap. Internally, it operates more like scanrand, unicornscan, and ZMap, utilizing asynchronous transmission. The key difference is that it is significantly faster than other scanners. Additionally, it offers greater flexibility, allowing for arbitrary address and port ranges.
Note: MASSCAN uses a custom TCP/IP stack. Any operation beyond simple port scanning may cause conflicts with the local TCP/IP stack. This means you need to use the -S option to specify a separate IP address or configure the operating system to firewall the ports used by MASSCAN.
How to use Masscan?
Masscan is a high-speed internet port scanner that transmits SYN packets asynchronously, enabling it to scan any IP address and port range much faster than other scanners, even capable of scanning the entire internet in just a few minutes.
