What is Ox editor?
Ox is a code editor. It’s written in Rust using ANSI escape sequences. It helps developers by providing multiple tools to speed up and simplify programming, offering a refreshing alternative to bloated, resource-heavy editors like VS Code and JetBrains. Ox is lightweight, making it usable on older computers.
Keep in mind this is a personal project and far from ready to replace your existing tools.
It runs in the terminal and works on platforms like Linux and macOS but can’t run directly on Windows due to the lack of a good command line (though it works with WSL). There are many text editors out there, each with its flaws; I wanted one that overcomes many burdens and issues.
Ox isn’t based on any other editor and was built from scratch without any foundation.
