If your site times out or crashes, Pingmeter cross-checks with our other servers in the U.S., Europe, Russia, and even Australia before notifying you via SMS, email, or even a voice call to your phone. The monitor can be linked to your website, allowing Pingmeter to track the number of online visitors. If the monitor fails, it alerts you by phone about the visitor count and logs how many users were online during the outage. Pingmeter monitors can scan HTTP, HTTPS, SSL certificate validation, FTP, SMTP, POP3, IMAP, ICMP, MySQL, and custom port pings. Monitors can also be set as parents to others, so if your server crashes and takes down HTTP, MySQL, and FTP, you won’t receive multiple alerts. Additionally, it can trigger predefined rescue actions to automatically restore your site, such as modifying CloudFlare DNS to a backup server or restarting MySQL, Apache, or other services via SSH commands sent to your server. Pingmeter provides a public (or password-protected private) status page that you can link on your site, letting visitors check your service status.
