Website Analytics + Uptime Monitoring + Server Status = Tianji During our observation of this website, we often find ourselves needing to use multiple applications simultaneously. For instance, we require analytics tools like GA/Umami to check PV/UV and page visits, an uptime monitor to assess server network quality and connectivity, and Prometheus to fetch server status reports for evaluating server performance. Additionally, when developing an open-source deployable application, we frequently need a telemetry system to help gather basic information about others' deployment instances. I believe these tools should serve the same overarching purpose. Is there an application that can integrate these common needs in a lightweight manner? After all, many times we don’t require highly specialized or in-depth features. Yet, to achieve comprehensive monitoring, we end up installing so many services. Focusing on one thing is commendable, and as experts in relevant fields, we do need such specialized tools. But for the majority of users with only lightweight requirements, an all-in-one application would be far more convenient and easier to use.
