You can easily install vSphere Hypervisor on your own or with some guidance. If you prefer a hands-on approach, simply download the installer, accept the End User License Agreement, and select the local drive for installation.
**Creating Virtual Machines**
After installing vSphere Hypervisor, there are three ways to create virtual machines:
1. Use VMware vCenter Converter to migrate an existing server into a virtual machine or import existing VMware and third-party virtual machine images.
2. Create a virtual machine from scratch by specifying the required CPU count, memory size, disk space, and network interfaces, then install the operating system from an ISO image or boot disk.
3. Import virtual appliances. Hundreds of options are available on the VMware Solution Exchange.
