Web Alert enables you to monitor changes on any website (even those requiring login, form submission, or password prompts for access). You can receive notifications for price changes, new article postings, exam results or answers received in forums, registration period openings, and more. It also allows you to verify if your own website is currently online and functioning properly (UI testing and network monitoring). Using its specialized browser, you navigate to a webpage, and the app records your navigation steps to replicate them periodically in the background later. On the page, you can visually select the text (or HTML) you wish to monitor for updates, ensuring you're only alerted about modifications to those specific sections. The inspector's alert reports highlight the differences. Technically, other apps merely automate the repetition of checking raw content behind simple URLs. However, this app goes further with web automation capabilities, where instructions (macros) are recorded interactively (similar to iMacros). Your actions on the website—along with your selection of text to track for updates—are automatically replayed at intervals you specify. This opens up additional possibilities for overseeing changes on deep web pages.
