LinkedIn has launched a new tool called Post Proofreader, exclusively for Premium users, replacing its previous AI-powered post enhancement feature. The earlier tool, which allowed users to revise posts using AI-generated suggestions, was removed last month.

According to LinkedIn, the tool provides inline change tracking, allowing users to review modifications before applying them. The platform stated:

“Post Proofreader helps eligible Premium members improve post drafts before publishing. You can review suggested changes and decide whether to apply them.”

This shift aligns with LinkedIn’s broader strategy to reduce AI-generated content misuse, commonly referred to as "AI slop." Last month, the platform introduced an option for users to report suspected AI-generated posts, which was used over one million times in less than three weeks.
