LinkedIn Launches AI-Powered Clips for Live Events
LinkedIn Introduces AI-Powered Video Highlights for Live Events
LinkedIn has unveiled a new AI-driven feature designed to help creators and brands optimize their live event content. The platform now offers AI-powered recommended clips and chapters, automatically identifying key moments in recorded live streams for easy repurposing.
How LinkedIn’s AI Video Highlights Work
The new tool, integrated into LinkedIn’s event management dashboard, analyzes recordings and suggests standout segments—such as major announcements, key insights, and memorable quotes. Event hosts can review these AI-generated recommendations in a side panel, adjusting clip lengths before publishing.

LinkedIn’s AI tool suggests highlight clips from live event recordings.
According to LinkedIn, this feature enables marketers to “quickly turn event recordings into short-form highlights”, extending engagement long after the live session ends. Additionally, the system generates chapters within longer replays, making it easier for viewers to navigate to relevant sections.
Rising Demand for Live and Short-Form Video
The update aligns with LinkedIn’s growing focus on video content. The platform reported a 24% increase in shared events in Q1 2025, alongside a 10% rise in overall content consumption, driven partly by short-form video trends.
Availability
LinkedIn confirmed that recommended clips and chapters are now available to all users worldwide.
